Maesa has announced the winners of its first-ever #MaesaMagicIncubator, which was launched in July to empower and amplify “early-stage, underrepresented voices in the beauty and wellness sectors.”

The #MaesaMagicIncubator offers three promising beauty/wellness CPG startups an opportunity to partake in a 12-week intensive curriculum. This holistic program provides the following to deliver the necessary tools to build successful brands from concept to aisle.

  • A $35,000 grant
  • Mentorship
  • Hands-on education

This year’s #MaesaMagicIncubator cohort includes:

Fuzz Clinic (Skincare)

Fuzz Clinic is hair removal skincare for multicultural customers. Their formulations are infused with botanical ingredients aimed at addressing common issues such as dark marks, irritation, and unsightly bumps often associated with hair removal. Fuzz Clinic understands the interconnectedness of hormonal well-being and the challenges of unwanted hair. Their overarching mission is to empower their customers by boosting confidence and enhancing their self-esteem through exceptional skincare solutions.

House of Foster (Fragrance)

A brand promoting unapologetic, explorative fragrance that is scientifically designed to bring you home. Intentionally made for unseen fragrance consumers but accessible to all – the line features clean modern accords with a non-boring soulful undertone. House of Foster was born in search of the “untold scent story,” with culture-led formulation that redefines the constraints of clean fragrance.

Squigs Beauty (Haircare)

An award-winning, approachable, fun, and effective Ayurvedic beauty brand, whose mission of Happy Headcare was created to put you in a good mood. “Happy Headcare” is the brand’s comprehensive approach to caring for the skin on your face and scalp because both are equally important and for that reason, Squigs Beauty donate a percentage of proceeds to mental health charities.
